Welcome to CADEAU

Where the art of gifting is a labor of love, born from spontaneity, passion, and a desire to bring joy to others. My name is Agnes Teiti, and I’m the founder of CADEAU – Gifts & Floristry.

My journey into the world of gifting began while I was working full-time in finance. It was a typical day until it wasn’t – sparked by the desire to make my mom’s birthday and my best friend’s anniversary truly special, I embarked on creating personalized gifts for them, right from my office desk. As I shared my ideas with colleagues, I realized the universal struggle of finding the perfect gift amidst the chaos of our daily lives. That moment of insight birthed CADEAU on July 2, 2019.

For years prior, the concept of personalized gifting had been brewing in my mind, inspired by the sheer delight I experienced receiving unexpected gifts throughout my life. I recognized the profound joy gifts bring and sought to extend that experience to others in my community.

From humble beginnings without catalogs or flyers, CADEAU emerged as a bespoke gifting service, where each gift is tailored to the recipient’s interests and budget. What started as an Instagram page quickly snowballed into a flurry of orders, propelling me to resign from my full-time job and dedicate myself entirely to CADEAU.

Operating from the heart of my home, surrounded by my supportive family, every aspect of CADEAU is infused with love and personal touch. Forced to return to the workforce due to Covid, while juggling the demands of family life, CADEAU persevered, evolving and adapting through challenges with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Today, as I balance my commitment to both CADEAU and my full-time job, I am proud of the growth and resilience of our little business. Despite setbacks and losses, CADEAU continues to thrive, fueled by a vision of spreading joy through thoughtful, personalized gifts.

As I look toward the future, I envision CADEAU flourishing, perhaps one day passed on to my daughters who have been by my side since the beginning, lending their support and enthusiasm. With every gift we create, we aim to make moments memorable, spreading happiness one customized gesture at a time.
